Lakiko's music – an impression of her musical biography – could not be more diverse. Influences of Bosnian folk music mix with classical music, breathed pop vocals with contemporary spoken word, driving beats next to seemingly endless glissandi loops, and in between always the haunting sound of a cello. And when the spectacle is over, the listener is sent home with a feeling of bittersweet melancholy.

Since her beginnings, she has adopted a do-it-yourself approach to music, cultivating her taste for artisanal creations, exchanges with like-minded people, analogue and, above all, independence.

Singer, writer and multi-instrumentalist Laure Betris draws not only from all musical (rock, techno, noise, etc.) and artistic (visual arts, literature, dance, etc.) genres, but also from the library of languages (English, French, Chaldean) and the richness of her collaborations. In a duet with drummer and singer Yann Hunziker from Vevey, she proposes a form of total artisanship that is both therapeutic and magical.
