When the winter wind blows outside, the Global Sounds concerts bring a warm breeze from all over the world into Moods. Each concert promises an emotional journey through the rhythms and energies of other cultures. From the first to the last note, these performances make everyday life seem far away.BalkanEkstra
Anyone who comes here knows that BalkanEkstra concerts are celebrations of joie de vivre. Two bands in this series will be performing at Moods until the end of the year. The ensemble Divanhana from Sarajevo combines traditional Balkan music with jazz and pop. The songs make hearts beat faster and invite you to dance. The Ukrainian band DakhaBrakha, on the other hand, is known for its energetic mix of folklore and avant-garde. And suddenly you find yourself in a maelstrom of hypnotic beats and folkloristic fire - goosebumps guaranteed.
Yemen Blues
The band presents a fascinating mixture of Yemeni and Yiddish melodies, Afro-Cuban rhythms and modern influences from jazz, blues and funk. The charismatic singer Ravid Kahalani will know how to enchant and inspire you.
La Bruja de Texcoco
With La Bruja de Texcoco, tradition, identity and rhythm merge into a musical experience that leaves no emotion out. The cultural traditions of Mexico are celebrated wholeheartedly. Each song invites you to immerse yourself as if you were in Mexico yourself.

Sahra Halgan
The Somali singer and activist will transport you with her voice into a world full of longing and joie de vivre. Her music tells stories that will move you and connect you on a deeper level - touching, intense and full of authenticity.
LINA
With her unique voice, LINA breathes new life into fado, the longing sound of Portugal. This traditional musical style tells of loss and longing and is often referred to as the “Portuguese blues”. LINA combines poetic lyrics with modern influences to create an emotional depth. Anyone who wants to experience the melancholy and passion of fado should not miss her concert.
