Talking Music With The Greats : The Moods-Masterclasses

How does one build a beat in Ableton? How do you properly slap a bass? What's the best way to deep and meaningful storytelling? Meet some of the most influencial Musicians of our times at our Moods Masterclasses where they will tell you about their experiences, tips and tricks – live in the club as well as online as Video-On Demand.

With the start of the new concert season, we've made it our goal to offer you educational content as well: three new masterclasses await us. As part of the ZKB Jazzpreis Festival, jury member Rabih Abou-Khalil will tell us wondrous things about his instrument, the oud. And in October we will be visited by power bassist Ida Nielsen as well as the jazz funk legends of Azymuth.Don't worry, you don't have to be an expert to attend the masterclasses. Both musics and music fans are very welcome.As a foretaste, you can watch past masterclasses for free on our streaming page, for example the one by Wieder, Gansch & Paul or by drummer Silvan Strauss. Have fun learning!
