My May tips are like a good piece of graffiti: full of color, full of energy, full of stories just waiting to be heard. I'm particularly looking forward to these musical splashes of color in May.
Friday, May 1 – V.I.P. Session with LTJ Bukem
For once, I'm not recommending a concert, but a party – and that's all down to LTJ Bukem. Danny Williamson, aka LTJ Bukem, is a drum and bass legend who first captivated me 30 years ago. He's now playing at Moods for the second time. If only I could turn back the clock and be 20 again for one night – but whether my legs will still be up to it remains to be seen!Thursday, May 7 - ZJO feat. Thomas Gansch
During his latest concert at Moods, Thomas Gansch stated that the role of artists in these turbulent times is to restore people's confidence and hope. He and the ZJO will certainly succeed in achieving this, as they celebrate the centenary of Miles Davis's birth and make the world a little more beautiful this evening.Thursday, May 14 - Aaron Parks Little Big

Last autumn, the Zurich duo won the audience award at the ZKB Jazz Prize Festival. Samson Philipp's performances bear some resemblance to DJ sets, as they play their set without interruption.
