The Zurich Kantonalbank encourages young, innovative Swiss bands with the ZKB Jazz Prize. The 15th edition of the ZKB Jazz Prize is a public six-day festival from 30th April to 5th May 2017 staged in Moods. For the finale on 5th May, the two jurors Elina Duni and Erik Truffaz will appear on stage with their musical collague Bugge Wesseltoft.
The Matthieu Llodra Trio moves somewhere between jazz, electronic music, Pop and Rock. They made a name for themselves at the Cully Jazz Festival, where since 2013 the trio leads the often wild jam-Sessions in the Caveau des Vignerons. Meanwhile, the three musicians have already shared the stage with greats such as Popa Chubby, Guillaume Perret and Nenad Gajin geteilt and now present their first album: groovy, enriched with electronic sounds and improvisation.
The concert took place as part of the ZKB Jazz Prize.
