Joe Lovano Classic Quartet

The New York Times named Joe Lovano «one of the best musicians in the history of jazz», then this man has stood on stage with all of the great and famous of jazz. He has also honoured Moods in the most diverse line-ups, sometimes with his own band, Us Five, sometimes with Dave Douglas in a quintet. In Spring the superb American saxophonist returns to Moods with his Classic Jazz Quartet. In its music, the quartet researches the treasure trove of classic jazz, on to Swing and Bebop – «Straight-Ahead-Jazz» in its raw form.
