Violeta Garcia and Ramon Landolt met in the Iced Sound project. For the project, Landolt composed «music by and for glaciers» with the help of field recordings, algorithmic processing and performances with artists in alpine caves and on glaciers. In this context, Ramon Landolt and Violeta Garcia froze together on Swiss glaciers and improvised to melting sounds. Now, in this newly formed duo, the two are building on that extreme experience: with cello, manipulated samples, and synthesizer in tow, they will make an improvisation-driven, wayward, shimmering, vibrating body of sound flow through space and time - hoping to slow things down, because time can be manipulated through sound. Look forward to this first live performance of this promising duo.

  • How to reach Moods

    Moods is reached via the main entrance of the Schiffbau at Schiffbauplatz. We recommend arriving by public transport (streetcar 4 or 8 / bus 72, 83 or 33 to Schiffbau; S-Bahn to Hardbrücke station and from there approx. 2 minutes on foot). Parking spaces are available under Hardbrücke and in the Pfingstweid-/Hardstrasse parking garage.
