A new collaboration between Simon Grab and David Meier, between dense, bass-heavy electronics and earthy, vibrating drums. For once, the focus is not on Simon Grab's idiosyncratic no-input mixer noises, but on pulsating, delicate beat electronics enriched with feedback, joined by David Meier's sensitive, energetic drumming. After several studio sessions and their first live performances, their first album is now being released.
errad0 is a celebration of sonic error, exploring the limits of electronic music and industrial hip hop, investigating the space in between what can exist on a dancefloor or at a punk show. Vocal dirt thrown into the mic by brazilian vocalist Antigo influenced by the anthems of facçao and proibidão carioca, singing violent chants about the becoming of a monster the state portrays, driven by the experience of being born as a black person in Brasil, paired with bass heavy beats by swiss noisemaker Simon Grab that assault your innards and tickle the ears. With this hyperreal mixture in mind errad0 evokes a rotten visual narrative about a hedonistic dystopia - errad0 grows into a deformed creature that incorporates sound and mass, blurring the lines between sonic matter and organic flesh.
