Mongolian singer Enji first came into contact with jazz at the Goethe-Institut in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. She later studied jazz singing in her adopted home of Munich, where she now also realized her new album Ulaan (2023). The reactions to the album were overwhelming: #1 in the Washington Post, Best Jazz Albums of 2023 in the New York Times and hhv-mag.

This spring, singer Enji will be touring Europe for the first time as a trio with guitarist Paul Brändle and River Adomeit on double bass: sensitive chamber jazz that meets the folklore of Mongolia.
