The registration period for the Moods Aïda Alliman Prize 2024 has passed. The winner of the Aïda Alliman Prize will be announced in July 2024.
ABOUT THE MOODS-AïDA ALLIMANN AWARD
The annual «Moods-Aïda Alliman Award» supports musicians from Switzerland or Liechtenstein with a financial contribution of 20‘000 Swiss Francs. This contribution is intended to enable the award winners to perform free of financial pressure for a certain period of time. Musicians winning this award will be given the opportunity to perform at Jazzclub Moods within six months of the award reception. The award will be attributed based on the submitted letter of motivation and the artistic plans of the applicant. What the applicant wants to achieve is more important than what he/she has already achieved. Further importants selection criteria are the potential for artistic development of the musician, as well as ensuring continuity in the current line of work.
JURY
All submitted applications will be judged by a panel consisting of three experts. No correspondence will be entered into regarding non-selection. The award will be handed out in person during a concert at Moods. For applicants: Required documents and information
