Genre
Jazz
The classically trained pianist Simone Keller (*1980) moves between different styles and genres, seeks out the experimental and cultivates tradition. As a bridge-builder, she is particularly committed to broad social access to music. Her intensive concert activities take place at renowned international institutions as well as on the fringes and in niches, where she constantly engages with the new and unusual.

Michael Flury, born in Solothurn in February 1983, is a slide trombonist, music archaeologist and sound artist. He composes, arranges and produces his own music and offers it for direct sale via his platform MUK. In the past, he has worked with greats from pop and rock culture, can be heard on many recordings, has collaborated with film and theater and has researched the intersection of art and science.

Together, the Keller/Flury duo will open the Jazz Trombone Festival 2025, with reinforcement by sound designer, Jonas Häni.
