Music is a seismogram of reality, as the philosopher Theodor W. Adorno once wrote. Always embedded in cultural and social conditions, it helps to define the spirit of the times. Both light and sound travel in waves. A prism is based on its ability to refract light according to its wavelength or to redirect light rays by reflection on one or more surfaces.
