Since 2016, Moods has been awarding the "Moods-Aïda Alliman Prize" in collaboration with the Aïda Alliman Foundation. This year the prize will be awarded for the second last time, after which the foundation will be dissolved.
The "Moods-Aïda Alliman Prize" supports Swiss or Liechtenstein musicians* with an annual financial contribution worth 20,000 Swiss francs. This contribution is intended to enable them to work freely for a certain period of time. In addition, the selected musicians* will be given the opportunity to perform at the jazz club Moods within six months of the award. The prize will be awarded on the basis of the submitted letter of motivation and artistic plans. The emerging has priority over the completed. The continuity of the previous work and the development potential of the musician are also important criteria.
APPLICATION
Applications for the 2023 Moods-Aïda Alliman Prize will be accepted until May 28, 2023.
JURY
The submitted applications and works will be judged by a jury of three experts. Negative decisions will not be explained in writing. The entries will be presented in person at a Moods concert.
